Mark Milan After
completing the jazz program at the Hilversum Conservatory in 1992, he
attended the Rotterdam, graduating in 1996. Mark began his professional
career at the age of 18, when he became a regular member of Chicago-born
blues guitarist Ronald Abrams' band. He has performed with many
artists, including Rumbata, Gerardo Rosales, Unisono, Denise Jannah, Saskia
Laroo, Izaline Calister. With Fra-Fra Sound/Big Band he has toured in Europe,
Africa, Jamaica, Cuba, and Surinam. Mark appeared at the North Sea Jazz
Festival in 1998 with Fra-Fra Sound, and in 2001 with Eddy Veldman's Opoyeye.
His recordings include the CD's of Fra-Fra Sound and Rumbata.
